Description:
Applications funded in this funding code will address erosion, sediment, and water quality and quantity resource concerns on cropland. The beginning land use must be cropland, but cropland conversion to grass or trees is eligible also. Irrigation and Precision Farming (Nutrient Management) are included. Irrigation history must be verified on the Tennessee worksheet “Producer Self-certification of Irrigation History" for irrigation water practices. Producers needing the practices available in the Priority Practice fund code are encouraged to apply in that fund code. NOTE: Before being ranked, all applicants must pass the Tennessee EQIP & WHIP Screening Tool.
